This washed-processed coffee comes from Buku Sayisa in the Hambela Wamena region of Ethiopia, cultivated at altitudes of 2350 meters above sea level. The community’s deep-rooted knowledge of coffee farming ensures that only the finest beans are selected. The washed process involves fermenting the coffee under water for 72 hours and drying on raised beds for 8-20 days, allowing the flavors to fully develop. After drying, the beans are soaked and carefully prepared for export.
