About the Producer:
Miguel Bohorquez produces this exceptional washed microlot on his farm, El Triunfo, located in the village of Paloquemado in Garzon, Huila. Sitting at 1,800 meters above sea level, the farm cultivates Colombia, Caturra, Castillo, and young Pink Bourbon trees (planted in 2022). El Triunfo is equipped with a farmhouse, mill, and dryer, enabling precise post-harvest control.
Processing Method:
This lot is processed with great care using a washed method to highlight its delicate character:
- Ripe cherries are selectively handpicked.
- Fermentation and washing steps are carefully managed to preserve floral aromatics and tea-like qualities.
- The coffee is dried under a covered structure (marquesina) for optimal quality.
